The Chamber of Commerce has the mission to empower local businesses, foster economic growth, and build a thriving community together! The Chamber serves an important role in advocating for tourism and helping local businesses connect, grow, and have a stronger presence in the community. We are able to provide resources, networking opportunities, support for local businesses, and more through the support of our business members, volunteer Board of Directors, citizens support in our community, and our corporate sponsors: The Bank of Salem, SEMO Behavioral Health, Four Rivers, Salem Memorial Hospital, Phelps Health, and Dominos! The Chamber actively advertises and promotes Salem/Dent County as a tourism destination.  The many outdoor recreational activities, beautiful scenery and family-friendly hospitality invite visitors to discover why there is more to do here. Naturally.

Established in 1930, the Salem Area Chamber of Commerce has served the Salem and Dent County community.

The Salem Area Chamber of Commerce is a member of the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and the Meramec Regional Planning Commission.
